Diversity Visa ("DV") Program

The Immigration and Naturlization Laws allows fifty five thousand (55,000) immigrant visas each fiscal year so as to allow immigrants from countries other than principle sources of current immigration to the United States. DV Visas are divided among six geographical regions and not more than seven percent (7%) of the total visas may be provided to immigrants of any one country.
